太阳的嗓音简简单单，但因为略带了一点鼻音而变得特别，BigBang的成名曲《谎言》中后半部分“HEY”，就是太阳的杰作，配上鼓点，堪称完美。除了一把好嗓子之外，太阳还是队中的舞蹈担当之一，6年的练习生生涯，铸造了太阳深厚的舞蹈实力，杨社长说过：YG的大人们喜欢永裴，因为他身上流着黑人的血液。JYP公司老板朴振英也在访谈节目中表示，太阳的舞蹈在他心中是第一位，因为他可以跳出黑人舞蹈的感觉，把舞蹈完全融入歌曲中

　舞台上的TOP，总是很MAN的存在，私下其实是五官十分漂亮的美型男！喜欢收集玩具，喜欢粉色，喜欢甜食，这一切都反映出了TOP其实是一个内心寂寞，思想细腻，如孩子般单纯的人。T.O.P在队中担任的是Rap和B-Box，他在很小的时候就开始在地下乐队专注于担任Rap的角色，一路走来，经历了很多是非，但是从未改变理想，对他来说，Rap就是生命中的一部分。他那低沉且略显沙哑的嗓音，仿佛为Rap而生，絮语中如泣如诉的感情，让人难以自拔。TOP同时也在戏剧中不断成长，演技堪称精湛，获得了不少电视电影殊荣。
